Traffic information

The symbols appear

d in colour with a red border along the

intended route;

d in black and white with a grey border

if not on the proposed route.

Where a scale of 10 km or less is being

used, additional detailed information

such as the length, direction and sever-

ity of the congestion is shown by ar-

rows along the route. For example:

If the scale being used is greater

than 10 km, a traffic incident is

shown by an arrow pointing in the di-

rection affected.c

Stop-and-go traffic

Stationary traffic

Traffic information during

destination guidance

If the navigation system detects con-

gestion or stationary traffic on the in-

tended route, a warning symbol ap-

pears next to "Route map" in the desti-

nation guide.

the route guide approx. 25 km (15 miles)

before any stationary trafﬁc:

d The cause of the congestion

(see page 43).

d The distance until you reach the

congestion.

d The length of the congestion.

d The distance to the last possible exit.
